1. What The Presage is
The Presage is a points-only forecasting platform for informational, research, and educational purposes. Users submit probability estimates on real-world questions and receive a calibration-based Presage Rating. No real money is involved and points carry no monetary value, cannot be redeemed, and are not transferable.
2. Not financial advice
Nothing on The Presage constitutes investment, legal, tax, or financial advice, or a recommendation or solicitation to buy, sell, or hold any security or asset. The Presage is not a broker-dealer, investment adviser, exchange, or prediction market. A Presage Rating reflects historical calibration only and does not predict future outcomes. You are solely responsible for any decisions you make.
3. Eligibility & accounts
You must be at least 18 years old to use The Presage. You are responsible for activity under your account and for keeping your sign-in email secure.
4. Acceptable use
Do not manipulate scores, operate multiple accounts to distort rankings, scrape the service, or attempt to access questions' crowd or AI data before submitting your own prediction. We may suspend accounts that abuse the platform.
5. Third parties
Questions may reference organizations, people, or events that are not affiliated with, and do not endorse, The Presage.
6. No warranty
The service is provided "as is," without warranties of any kind. To the fullest extent permitted by law, The Presage is not liable for any damages arising from your use of the platform.
This is a preliminary Terms of Service and will be replaced with a finalized version reviewed by counsel before public launch.
